Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport has three terminals: Terminal 1, Terminal 2 (with sub-buildings 2A–2G), and Terminal 3. Your connection will depend on your arrival terminal, departure terminal, and ticket type.

Transfers within the same terminal are usually on foot. Between terminals, you may need to walk, take a shuttle bus, or use the airport transit train. Transfer times generally range from 10 to 45 minutes or longer, depending on your route.

Always check your arrival and departure terminals before traveling to plan your journey and avoid any confusion.

After disembarking, follow the yellow ‘Transfer’ signs

■ Check the airport’s flight information screens to locate the gate for your onward flight.
■ Stay Airside. Follow the airport signs to reach your designated terminal/gate.
■ Go through Security and Immigration if required.

➔ Self-connecting passengers

After disembarking, follow the ‘Baggage-Exit’ signs

■ Check the flight information screens to find which terminal your onward flight departs from.
■ Pick up bags, Exit through Customs.
■ Proceed to the appropriate terminal and check-in desk via the landside area.
■ Go to your gate through Security and Immigration if required.
